Biography

Dr Cheng holds a PhD in Cultural Studies (Lingnan University), an MPhil and a BA in Philosophy (The Chinese University of Hong Kong), and a diploma in Chinese Language and Literature (Hong Kong Shue Yan College). He is presently a lecturer at the Office of University General Education, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, working with the teaching team of the General Education Foundation (GEF) Programme. His current research mainly focuses on theater and performing arts, cultural policy, creative industries and urban cultural studies. He is especially interested in the development of theater and performing arts and cultural policy in Hong Kong.
