13. Will the course grades be calculated in my grade point average (GPA) and degree classifications?

“Distinction”, “Pass” or “Failure” will not be counted in the calculation of GPA. Similar to the current Pass/Failure grading, students who have obtained a grade of “Distinction” or “Pass” in UGCP1001 or UGCP1002 shall earn the unit of that course. The unit(s) of course(s) repeated/retaken shall count only once towards the fulfilment of course units for graduation.
