學術簡介

王永雄博士畢業於香港中文大學,主修物理,獲理學士(甲等)、哲學碩士及哲學博士學位。1996至2008年,任教於香港中文大學物理系,曾任導師及高級導師。2000至2004年間,修讀基督教神學,獲信義宗神學院頒授基督教研究碩士學位。2009年,轉職至大學通識教育部,任高級講師。曾兼任通識基礎課程副主任,現兼任署理主任。研究興趣為理論固態物理、科學史、科學與宗教對話。教學方面,近年致力科學教育、核心文本通識教育、資優教育。
